On 7. 12. 2023, representatives of employers and employees concluded collective bargaining by signing Amendment No. 7 to the Collective Agreement of a higher level. Pavel Elis, Vice-Chairman of the ČSZE Board of Directors, signed the amendment as the employers’ representative, while Marta Ctiborová, Chairwoman of the Czech Energy Workers’ Union, and Karel Klusák, President of the ECHO Trade Union, signed the amendment on behalf of the trade unions.
During the negotiations of the negotiating teams, Amendment no. 7, which includes a pension contribution that is now due after one year of employment, an increase in wage rates, an increase in the supplement for working in difficult working conditions, an increase in the supplement for night work and an increase in on-call pay.
The overall course of collective bargaining confirmed that social dialogue in the energy sector has been at a very good level for a long time.
